The MAJOR PROBLEM with them is they are very unsecured, and can be broken into very easily by anybody that wants your valuable data. Don't use them. If you are going to give remote access to your server the only way to protect yourself and your clients data is with a high dollar firewall and encryption on the data. Otherwise, anybody that has access to your server has access to all of your data. Both the firewall and encryption require constant upgrading and must be licensed to each computer you want to access your software from.
